Do you film elopements with family present?
We do not consider celebrations with family present "elopements".
We would consider those "small weddings".
Therefore, no, we do not work with couples who want to have their families present.
Untamed is about giving yourself space as a couple to embrace the moment, and no matter how close to your family you are, you will not be able to experience the day as freely as you would if you are alone. If you want to have a small wedding, feel free to reach out to us through our own respective businesses listed on the home page.
Can we only include only photo or video in our package, not both?
The reason we are a collective is to provide a well rounded experience. Photo and video come together because we believe in how powerfully they compliment one another.
If you wanted just one or the other, you can inquire through our respective businesses.
How much do you cost?
Our packages are customizable and therefore prices vary.
You can pick and choose from our a la carte list to create your package any any way you like!
Please contact us using the link below to receive our handbook with more information.
An average price would be around $5000.
How many hours of coverage do you offer?
We offer from 2 to 5 hours of coverage for your elopement.
Our goal is to never feel rushed.
We want to help draw each moment out as long as possible for you. This day is about being present, being open-hearted. These things are tough to do when you're under a short time restriction.
Do you travel?
Hell yes! We are located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and we know these woods like the back of our hands, but we are 100% up for exploring new locations and adventuring with you to find the perfect space for your elopement. Just let us know where you want to go and we will be there right beside you!
Do we need to hire an officiant?
That's the amazing part - no, you don't need to hire an officiant! Shannon (one of our photographers) is a licensed officiant, so she can perform the ceremony for you. But, you will need to hire her partner Andrew as a second shooter for the day if you want photos of your ceremony.
why should I book you instead of other vendors I find?
Inviting a team of people who work well together, get along great, and really mesh in all the right ways is one of the best things you can do for yourself when planning an elopement. The environment and the feeling of the day is so important, especially since it is so intimate compared to big weddings. We help you rest easy and just enjoy the day while not worrying about if your photographer and videographer will get along, but not only that, we make it a priority to make your day even better with our presence.
